Sausages, Peppers and Onions


SAUSAGES, PEPPERS AND ONIONS
Serves 4

1 pound turkey Italian Sausage
1/4 cup white wine
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 onions, slivered
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips

Brown sausages in non-stick skillet for about 5 minutes. Add white wine and simmer for 10 minutes until no longer pink.

Meanwhile, heat oil in another pan. Add pepper flakes. Saute onions and peppers in olive oil for 5 minutes.. Add garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes until almost tender.

Combine all ingredients, simmer for 5 minutes.
